It’s one thing to establish abundant training and periodic retraining procedures in the workplace. But it’s another to see our commitment to safety come into practice on the job site. Today, Countywide Mechanical is proud to celebrate 200 days without an OSHA Recordable Injury companywide. Additionally, we’re thrilled to recognize one of our Service Estimator/Job Coordinators, Dan D., for earning a Modigent Safety Challenge Coin – a token of appreciation given to those who display the utmost concern for their fellow workers.
Dan received this coveted award for going above and beyond safety expectations on the job when he made the decision to incorporate a shoulder dolly while moving a 300-pound boiler up two flights of stairs and across a roof that featured multiple trip hazards. By considering Countywide’s daily S.T.O.P. hazard assessments, Dan showed a complete understanding and dedication to our safety standards, policies, and job-specific procedures, mitigating present danger.
Whether our people are working on our property, driving equipment, or building within a client’s facility, our goal is to keep our employees, our clients, and their customers safe. Thank you, Dan, for being proactive and ensuring everyone’s safety!
