As part of the Modigent family of companies, Countywide embraces a social responsibility that affords us the opportunity to donate our time, talents, and resources to create a meaningful impact in our surrounding communities throughout the year. One of the biggest charities that we partner with is the Ronald McDonald House of San Diego. Through meal service programs and other charitable drives, we help support families of children who are receiving treatment for serious, life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.

Throughout our partnership, our volunteers have visited patients’ homes to prepare and serve meals to their families. We have also participated in donation drives for movie nights where we donate everything needed – from pajamas to blankets, popcorn, drinks, and candy.

This year’s Ronald McDonald House “Red Shoe Day,” held annually in May, was equally successful. We’ve participated in this event since 2019 and regularly have a team of volunteers gather donations from the community, vendors, and fellow employees to provide a ‘home away from home’ and ease family burdens.

This year’s event overflowed with generosity as our seven volunteers collected $732.91 at their assigned intersection. This money will go directly to support San Diego families as they care for their children. We are thankful for those who donated, and we especially want to celebrate the amazing Countywide team members who spent their personal time to strengthen their community.
