For us, engaging with charity organizations for the betterment of our communities happens year-round. Beyond sophisticated building solutions, we give our time, talents, and resources to create a lasting, meaningful impact within our surrounding areas. Whether it means being a key sponsor for a K-12 charity, fostering symbiotic relationships with civic organizations, participating in blood drives, delivering Thanksgiving baskets, hosting a cornhole tournament for charity, or donating supplies and toys for children, we are always intentionally reinvesting our success in the organizations that make a difference.
Feeding San Diego
Throughout the year, we partner with Feeding San Diego to help end hunger in San Diego County. This volunteer opportunity enables their organization to serve over 40.3 million meals in the community, and we love making a positive impact through our Caring Hearts and Countywide Cares Committee. Feeding San Diego also supports children, families, seniors, college students, military families, and veterans in need with a multitude of programs. Giving back is what we do to show that Countywide Cares!
Red Shoe Day
We partner with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego in various ways throughout the year to support families of children facing a medical crisis. Annually, in May, our employees participate in Red Shoe Day, during which we volunteer to gather donations from the community, vendors, and fellow employees to provide a ‘home away from home’ and ease family burdens. Additionally, we participate in a meal service program and other charitable drives to support families of children receiving treatment for serious, life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.
Supporting Our Troops
As part of STEP, Support the Enlisted Project, our employees volunteer their time and effort to organize an annual Backpack Donation Drive, as well as our Adopt-A-Military-Family Holiday Drive. Both initiatives provide support and relief to the families of active military personnel in our area.
Guiding youth with Lead Guitar.
Our committed corporate charity involves serving as an ongoing sponsor of Lead Guitar – an organization whose mission is to provide young people more access to musical education. Our contribution includes lending corporate resources that enable Lead Guitar to hold classes, events, and showcases that shine a light on this valuable program.
